Instagram text formatter
Clean line breaks and whitespace, check counts, then copy exact text.
Your text stays in your browser. Counts distinguish visible graphemes, Unicode code points and UTF-16 units; a platform's own counter can differ.
Choose the changes you want
Normalize line endings, trim selected trailing spaces or remove extra blank lines deliberately. Preview the result before copying. Do not assume an invisible character guarantees the same spacing in every app.
Counts answer different questions
A code point is a Unicode character unit; a grapheme is a visible text cluster. A family emoji can be one visible cluster made of several code points. The app may use a different acceptance rule, so paste and verify there.
A readable illustrative bio
Try “Alex | pottery Small batches, studio notes New pieces below ↓”. Keep useful information in words. Line breaks also take space; recover your original text if cleanup removes something you wanted.
Keep a paragraph gap deliberately
Leave “Collapse repeated blank lines” unchecked to keep the blank lines you entered. This formatter copies normal newline characters; it does not add invisible spacer characters. After pasting into Instagram, save and reopen the text to check the gaps. If the app removes a gap, try a single line break between ideas or a visible divider. Recover your original input whenever you want to undo the selected cleanup.
