Copyable characters, not a font file
These styles replace supported letters and digits with Unicode characters. The style travels with copied text. No font is installed in Instagram, and appearance can differ by device.
Keep names readable
Use styled text as a short accent. Keep essential names, addresses and contact details in ordinary text so people can read, search and copy them. Screen readers may announce symbols differently.
Try a mixed-language example
Start with “Alex | pottery & weekend hikes 🌿”. Then try “Ana | café & cerâmica”. Accents, emoji and scripts without a mapped style stay intact; a mixed-looking result is safer than silently changing someone’s name.
