All example copy is illustrative. Replace it with your own facts.
Choosing a template or Start blank replaces this editor’s current scene. Your saved project remains available in Saved projects.
Choose an editable JSON, a design backup ZIP or a carousel export ZIP downloaded from this maker. The file is sent to GridWhim’s servers to be checked; it is not saved as a project. Opening it replaces the scene in this editor. A backup ZIP brings its images back as new private copies under this browser’s session, with the usual seven-day expiry. Any other file holds layout and text only, so each uploaded image has to be added again.
Your editable layout is kept in this browser. Preview and export send the design, including its text, to GridWhim’s servers for rendering. Reloading resumes an active export. Server exports expire seven days after the export starts. Saved projects expire seven days after saving and open through this browser’s session. Review the rendered preview before downloading. To keep a design beyond seven days, download it. Editable JSON holds the layout and text. Backup ZIP also holds this design’s images, up to 20 images and 16 MiB in total. Reopen either file with Open a saved design; images reopen only from a backup ZIP.
One idea per slide
Start with a clear opening, give the explanation room, then end with a useful next step. Five original layouts support a field guide, before/after notes, a small studio announcement, a service explainer and an event invitation; all text stays editable.
Export in the intended order
Download the numbered slides and check the contact sheet. Open the first and last files, inspect text near the edges and upload the slides in filename order. The scene JSON preserves editing choices; the image ZIP is the upload pack.
Illustrative five-slide tutorial
The editable field-guide template uses “A tiny pottery guide”: an opening, three sample stages and a closing note. Its five steps are illustrative process notes, not a complete ceramics course. Replace them with your own verified method before publishing.
Editable slides or a panoramic image?
Choose a template here when you want to change the text, images and layout on separate slides. A single panoramic image needs a sequence of matching crops to become a seamless swipe. Automatic panorama splitting is not included in this editor. Start with separate images or the editable layouts, then inspect the numbered pack before uploading.
